Aims and Scope

Progress in Fishery Sciences  welcomes manuscripts in Chinese, on all aspects of aquaculture and fisheries covering fisheries biology, fisheries oceanography, aquaculture, aquatic germplasm resources & genetic breeding, protection of aquatic wild animals, disease prevention & control of aquatic animals, fisheries ecosystem protection, fisheries facilities & fishing techniques, fishing equipment manufacturing technology, and comprehensive utilization & quality control of aquatic products etc. Review papers are also accepted.

Plagiarism Screening Policy

Publisher of the journal Progress in Fishery Sciences is Yellow Sea Fisheries Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences. The members of the editorial board have been using a web-based programme AMLC (http://check.cnki.net/amlc2/) which compares documents and marks found similarities as a possible instance of plagiarism. This programme can be usedduring the editorial process of Progress in Fishery Sciences when considered useful.

Open Access Policy

This is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author.

All issues ofProgress in Fishery Sciencescan be loaded in pdf-format free of charge immediately after their initial publication. Each article can be loaded individually and also the full text of each issue is available for anyone interested in the journal. The journal has its own website (http://www.yykxjz.cn/EN/) which acts as an easily accessible user interface to the journal.
