通过研究冻融海蜇触手,Sephadex G 10凝胶过滤层析脱盐,SP Sephadex C 25离子交换层析等分离纯化技术,从海蜇Rhopilema esculentum触手中分离到RE 5 6毒素,初步测定其分子量约为662 kD并对其性质进行了初步研究。结果表明,RE 5 6具有下列性质。(1)对鸡血表现出较强的溶血活性;(2)可大大提高小白鼠的对热痛阈值即有明显的镇痛效果,且镇痛作用随着注射浓度的增加而加强;(3)对小白鼠皮肤和眼睛分别表现中度和轻度刺激性;(4)对革蓝氏阴性菌大肠杆菌以及真菌白色念珠菌等有抑制作用。但未检测到丝氨酸蛋白酶抑制剂活性。 |

Preliminary study on isolation, purification and characteristics of a toxin from jellyfish |

A toxin, named RE 5 6,was isolated, purified and characterized from the tentacles of Rhopilema esculentum by Sephadex G 10 gel filtration and SP Sephadex C 25. The molecular weight was 662 kD. RE 5 6 showed hemolytic activity to chicken blood; its analgesic effect to mice was significant and intensified with concentration increasing; it showed medium or low level stimulation the skin and eyes of mice; it also inhibited the growth of Escherichia coli and Candida albicans. No serine protease inhibiting activity was revealed by the examination.
